Following the appointment of Acting District Governor of Gülşehir, Salih Gültekin, which resulted in the vacancy of the Mayor’s Office at Karacaşar Municipality, Deputy Governor Mücahit Öztürk was appointed by the Governorship of Nevşehir as Mayor of Karacaşar Municipality as of July 28, 2025.

Throughout his term of office, Mr. Mücahit Öztürk met with municipal personnel and the residents of Karacaşar to exchange views regarding the needs of the town, the work to be carried out, and priority services. As a result of the efforts carried out with a citizen-oriented management approach, many activities needed by the municipality were implemented and significant services were provided.

Deputy Governor Mr. Mücahit Öztürk served as the Mayor of Karacaşar between July 28, 2025, and January 15, 2026, and contributed to the effective and efficient delivery of municipal services throughout his term in office.
