Project Details

The project aims to increase the social, cultural, and commercial vitality of Karacaşar town center and to create a modern, safe, and aesthetic living space where citizens can meet their daily needs comfortably. Within the scope of the project, the renovation of the existing town square, the improvement of walking and resting areas, and the creation of an open space suitable for cultural events are planned.

The project covers a total area of 6,000 m⊃2; and includes the following works:

• Construction of a new city square arrangement
• Seating areas, shading structures, and resting points
• Modern landscaping works and expansion of green areas
• Renovation of lighting systems
• Creation of a children’s playground
• Open-air event area (concerts, festivals, exhibitions, etc.)
• Improvement of pedestrian walkways
• Installation of camera-based security systems
• Bicycle parking areas and directional signboards

Upon completion of the project, Karacaşar will gain a modern and well-organized town square where both local and international visitors can enjoy spending time. In addition, a new social gathering point will be created to support the social lives of families with children, young people, and elderly citizens.

The project has reached the tender stage, and the necessary preparations have been completed. The tender announcement will be published on the municipality’s official website and through EKAP.
